NASTY RUMOURS- BTF- CHECK
NASTY RUMOURS are finally back at Back To Future – even though, as artists, you all sleep in hotels with gold faucets: Imagine having to pack for your campsite. What's a must-have? I'd probably take a framed picture of a wonderful low-budget hotel, nail it to the tent wall, and cry myself to sleep.
If my festival calculator is correct, you last played at Back To Future in 2018. The "Bierschinken" festival report writes that you "made funny announcements in the most beautiful Swiss German." What Swiss German phrase always gets people around here?Well, in true Swiss German, which I speak at home with Mom and our guitarist, you potatoes wouldn't understand a thing. I actually speak the highest standard German on stage; I learned it in school! Announcements against the guitarist always go down well, except with the guitarist.
Google Image Search actually doesn't spit out a picture of you in shorts. Not of the RAMONES, not of THE CLASH, not of the SEX PISTOLS either. Tell me, is there even such a thing as punk-compatible shorts? If so, please include a picture!Many years ago, in the deadliest midsummer, our guitarist played in shorts at an indoor festival. The evening went down in history as the Shame of Zurich. Anyone who wears shorts on stage has lost control of their life. Playing barefoot is an even worse chapter, and people who do that deserve our deepest dislike.
Obligatory final question: Which bands from this year's lineup are you going to see?Unfortunately, we're only there for one day and one drunken night. I hope I can make it to HAMMERHEAD, NONCHALANT, COLLAPS, DIE VERLIERER and MARKED MEN.

Short interview with Anne Sophie // MÄD LŸNX (GER)
Immediately after the announcement that you'd be playing at Back To Future, there was a small outburst of joy from you via social media (on your Instagram account). Are you really excited? AS: Of course we are! BTF is simply an absolutely fantastic festival, and it's always been a small (big) dream of mine/ours to play there. Now it's really happening, and I'm personally peeing my pants with joy, and at the same time, my pen is falling with excitement! In short... It's going to be great!

AS: Hey, whether you're Glaubitz or not. Really, really, really!
We've already teased it; at least it's not your first time in Glaubitz. Imagine you had to convince someone to attend a festival here: How would you do it? AS: My first time at Back To Future was in 2014, and ever since, I've been of the opinion that there's no better punk rock festival. Idyllic location, friendly atmosphere, exquisite selection of musical offerings, and on top of that, a top-notch wellness program in the forest pool with lovingly preheated pools and plenty of live music. Oh, and I think the punk rock karaoke should be reason enough to drop everything and head over there. So go there!!!
Which bands on this year's lineup are you personally looking forward to seeing? Will you be staying the whole weekend? After all, we have a forest pool! AS: I'm really looking forward to finally seeing The Drowns live again. But The Baboon Show, Knochenfabrik, Alarmsignal, Private Function, East End Chaos, Die Verlierer, Nasty Rumors, Smoke Blow, and Oxo will definitely be amazing again too. I can already tell I'll hardly have time to rest at the campsite.

BACK TO FUTURE 2025
With the band confirmations of the last few days, we hope to have convinced even the most hesitant among you. So here it is: the 2025 lineup. Minor postponements or announcements will only occur in the event of unforeseen cancellations or similar unavoidable events. We are excited about your feedback, hope for your full support, and would be delighted if you would share the flyer, let all your brothers and sisters know, and - if you haven't already done so - eagerly fill out the ticket form.
You know the drill, you know the sayings, but they are true and essential: Without your help, a festival of our size is lost. So get to your Instagram channels, TikTok channels, or whatever you prefer! See you in July!

LOHRGE (GER)
Bittersweet bubble grunge punk, similar to an Aperol Spritz where the bar staff was a little too generous with you. A dash of post-punk and you've got a pleasant midday buzz. One of our local newcomers, long-time regulars at Dresden's trendy bars Ostpol and Chemiefabrik. Prepare yourself for a pleasant surprise and be transported to the threatened state in the midday sun of the Waldbad! Welcome to the last band in this year's Back to the Future lineup: LOHRGE!

FUCKING ANGRY (GER)
Back To Future 2018, around 4:30 p.m., who among you was standing in front of the tent stage with a sweaty T-shirt, wondering: What the hell was that? At that time of night? ... and then thumbing your nose at the poor souls who were still hanging around the forest pool at that time (“You missed something”)? We already knew then – we had to get the band back on stage – and voila: FUCKING ANGRY are back! Far more famous now, but no less angry! For many, “Still Fucking Angry” was definitely one of the best German punk/hardcore albums of the past year. Now back live on our field! In times like these, all that often remains is pure rage. See you in Glaubitz!

SLAUGHTER AND THE DOGS (UK)
“Do It Dog Style” - In Glaubitz! Unbelievable, but true: We're getting a live, full-color performance of “Where Have All The Bootboys Gone,” “Boston Babies,” and "Situations"! One of the most dazzling names in British punk is making his first appearance at Back To Future: SLAUGHTER AND THE DOGS! Original singer Wayne Barrett has gathered a few collaborators in his adopted hometown of Lyon and will be performing all their hits! We're so proud and overjoyed, because the lineup is (almost) complete!

THE BABOON SHOW (SWE)
After the band's sweet Sunday video shoutout, now officially complete with photo, graphics, wrapping paper, and a bow: THE BABOON SHOW are returning to Back to the Future. One of, if not the best live band on the planet, natural force Cecilia has raised the bar so high in the discipline of "physical performance while singing" that Helene Fischer and Campino can only go home sadly. We're delighted that the Swedish quartet, one of the bands you've always wanted to see, is sailing back into the Punk Rock Harbour Glaubitz.

FLYER FOR THE BACK TO FUTURE 2025!
...and there it is finally, our (almost) finished announcement graphic for the BACK TO FUTURE 2025! Of course we still have one or two surprises up our sleeves, for example up there on the left, we have taped a headliner band that we will announce in a few weeks. There will also be something happening in the middle positions, don't worry! We hope that the program has met your taste again and we are already looking forward to a huge party in the summer! Feel free to distribute the first BTF25 flyer online.
At the moment, however, the party atmosphere is deep in the basement. The unfortunately expected election results from last Sunday in our region are causing us more than just concern. Nobody knows how long subculture will be possible in rural areas. The future will tell, even if the clouds on the horizon are gloomy.
Some of you may have noticed when looking at the flyer, unfortunately MAID OF ACE had to cancel their show with us. We are working on an adequate replacement!
We had around 300 band applications for this year, which was total madness for such a small forest and meadow festival in the “ass of the world”, thank you for that! Unfortunately, we were unable to respond to all inquiries via personal email. Please forgive us - it was just too much in bulk, in addition to the entire BTF planning, we all still have regular jobs, families and lots of other obligations.
In order to have planning security, we ask you: Use the advance booking. Even if no one can hear the phrases anymore: advance sales ensure the continued existence of your favorite festival. Isso. Let's go!
