RED DONS (US)

From Portland to Glaubitz in one 45 minute set! Yes, RED DONS at Back To Future 2025, File Under: Not your average Rumpel Festival Band on Schrammelpunk Records. A little melancholy, not too few dark post-punk vibes and a lot of melody, RED DONS create a very unique atmosphere that is hard to escape. Portland just has it, WIPERS, POISON IDEA, OBSERVERS, DEFIANCE, there's something in the groundwater...

We're happy to be able to present you a very extraordinary group - welcome RED DONS!

FAMILY-CAMP-REGISTRATION NOW!

IF THE FUTURE KIDZ ARE UNITED! ... based on the smash hit “If The Kids Are United” by SHAM 69! Early musical and socio-political education remains a great need for us. In the last few weeks we have received a number of emails with questions; where, how and when you can register for the family camp. The BTF family camp now seems to be an absolute hit. We will adapt the size of the area and the program design to the registrations and hope not to have to cancel anyone.

The registration form is now updated again and you can register using it. Note: However, you will not receive an automatic reply email. You will then find all the important information about family camping and the button to register (scroll down). ›HERE!

So get started with your registration in good time so that we can get a quick feel for how we need to plan.

THE MARKED MEN (US)

Have THE MARKED MEN ever been to Saxony? At best, very secretly as tourists, look at the Rakotz Bridge, the Semper Opera or the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, but on a local concert stage?

In the past, the crew of "The Flying Revolverblatt" (R.I.P.) would have arranged for a performance in a sweaty club, but now we're doing it ourselves. One of the best pop punk / garage bands ever! After the SPITS and BRIEFS last year, the next tick on our bucket list! File Under BUZZCOCKS, RAMONES, DICKIES!

KLABUSTERBÄREN (GER)

Halle's export hit, right behind the Halloren Kugeln, are definitely the KLABUSTERBÄREN!

Founded in 1994 at a squatter party, the Halle band has been playing German-language punk with influences from wave, NDW, reggae and pop melodies ever since. Over 30 years later they are on a BTF stage for the first time! An example for all the bands applying - you also need perseverance and should have already been a visitor to our festival.

With them in Glaubitz they have their eighth and most current album “Who wants it quiet should move to the country”. In our opinion, a musical milestone in their discography.

STAY STABLE

The next AfD party conference will take place this weekend in the "large district town of Riesa"! For those who don't know - Riesa is located at the gates of Glaubitz, on the other side of the Elbe.

After 2019 and 2022, the municipal company FVG Riesa (Förder- und Verwaltungsgesellschaft für Wirtschaft, Kultur und Sport Riesa mbH) is once again making its multi-purpose hall available to the AfD for a federal party conference. You have certainly already seen the brown tourist signs with "Sportstadt Riesa" on your drive to Glaubitz on the distant motorways - what a mockery! The "culture" in the hall is limited to concerts by Frei.Wild, cover bands of some "rock greats" (Rammstein, AC/DC etc.) or second-rate pop entertainment and bad comedy with Mario Barth, Elsterglanz or Olaf Schubert... can you figure out why the AfD likes to hold its federal party conferences in the Riesa Arena? We do! Explaining this would go beyond the scope of this article!

Alongside smaller concerts with little support in the KOMBI Nünchritz and the Jugendhaus Riesa, Back To Future remains the only subcultural bright spot or pinprick in the region and at least this should be preserved in the future. As you can see on the flyer, in addition to speeches on Saturday there will also be concerts by TEAM SCHEISSE, ZSK and PÖBEL MC from 9:00 a.m. in front of the WT-Energiesysteme Arena in Riesa. Who can say they have been to a concert early in the morning? You can find further information about the concerts etc. here:

BERNHARD FUXX (GER)

Bernhard Fuxx? A friend of Fix & Foxi, Bart Simpson or Bernd the Bread? Well, BERNHARD FUXX is not really a newcomer band, even if no physical recording has been released (yet) (10” EP is probably coming soon). The Back To Future regulars of the BEERSCHINKEN blog, which has been hardened by countless concert visits, help with the classification: “For friends of: The Bulls, Oidorno, Telekoma, Misstand, Fucking Angry, Replacement Head, Resistance '32, Plague Pox, Fuckin' Faces, Vice Dictator, Eight Balls, Disturbed Becker, Human Abstinence, Treptow”. Ok, so that could be totally bad or totally awesome, in any case, friends of FUCKIN' FACES will get their money's worth, because BERNHARD FUXX is the follow-up project to the singer with the distinctive voice of that same band.

We are excited and will take the opportunity to wish you all a healthy and successful New Year in the same breath!

SICK TIMES (GER)

SICK TIMES have NEVER played at Back To Future, what kind of sick times are we living in? A band that has its own spoon, table and locker next door in the Nünchritz station wagon has really never been here before? Unbelievable, the booking team is now banned from watching television for two weeks. So it's time to present the trio to you! American-style hardcore punk, 100% DIY attitude, likeable people, good beer drinkers: SICK TIMES from Leisnig!

THE DROWNS (US)

In case you run out of board games on New Year's Eve, just play “Who am I?” in the punk band version (you know, that game where you get a piece of paper stuck to your forehead and have to figure out who you are). Target questions if you are Aaron-Rev Peters from THE DROWNS: “Do I like full-throttle rock n’ roll with a dash of street punk?” - “Do I also like the pub rock sound of COCK SPARRER or EDDIE AND THE HOT RODS?” - “Am I playing in a band that everyone seems to like?” or “Do I come across as likeable?”. Yes, then you win! Hurray, THE DROWNS at BACK TO FUTURE 2025!

COLLAPS (GER)

A perfect symbiosis of rumble, clatter and melody: Clear the way for COLLAPS from the Ruhr area! Beer, boots and sleeveless band shirts from NEGATIVE APPROACH or BONECRUSHER. The trio recently caused a stir in America. As Ultra Violence is the sound, so likeable are the musicians: Bassist Schnabel has been bringing us hot American bands for years through his agency CITYRAT, drummer Tim may be known from URBAN VOID or COMPLETE LOSS and singer Valle is probably Germany's busiest and most beautiful Oi at the moment !-Musician. Tip: Be sure to enjoy it with a beer in your hand!

STAUFFENBERG (GER)

A band name like a kick in the ass, song titles like “Patronengurt”, “Sabotage” and “Anarchismus”, the person singing goes by the name “Fahrrad” - German punk from the cellars of Stauffenbergallee in Dresden. Wild, young, untamed, loud and provocative We're excited to see what awaits us live and are already looking forward to STAUFFENBERG's Back To Future debut!
