Back To Future plus THE BRIEFS, a combination like thunder and lightning, mirror and egg, vanilla and ice cream - hit after hit! Feel free to argue about who has the title of best Neo '77 punk band, the BRIEFS are definitely at the top of the podium - wearing sun glasses and freshly blonded. The joy couldn't be greater that it worked out again with the Seattle darlings! Now get your advance tickets, plan your trip to Glaubitz, write to a dog sitter, train your liver: We have a date!

PUNKROIBER (GER)
The fact that DIE PUNKROIBER want to throw the instruments away after exactly 30 years of band history - as they announced a few days ago - could easily be reconsidered. In any case, for us it was a no-brainer to point the phone towards Thuringia and sign the men for a (supposedly) last Back To Future show. "The first, the last and this year only festival show!" - yes, that almost sounds like an advertising text from the XYZ festival, but that's probably true. Our gang is thick, even in the years when they weren't celebrating on stage, a few punk roibers are and have always been there! Regular guests (preferably with children & cones), friends, critical and enthusiastic companions of our festival!
Welcome again this year, and maybe you'll think about dissolving it again, at the latest when our stage head Jüschn really puts you in a headlock...

THIS IS GLAUBITZ, NOT L.A.
We are now on the home stretch of the 2024 Back To Future announcement marathon, and with THE FREEZE we have once again reached deep into the treasure trove of punk rock history. One of the oldest and most legendary East Coast hardcore punk bands is performing in the cultural "Land Of The Lost" between Leipzig and Dresden! We are looking forward to THE FREEZE, we are looking forward to summer, see you in front of the stage!

MIKE & THE ASSFUCKERS (GER)
Who said "You don't have enough German punk this year!", who asked "Where are all the young artists?" and who volunteers to be the final opponent for piss and third choice in the fight for the festival's most German-punk band name? Voila, we have a very special treat for you! MIKE AND THE ASSFUCKERS, the new hellish product from the area of the legendary Torgau bridgehead. The quartet has been shaking up the (Eastern) punk world for a few months now as if time had stood still in the late 80s or early 90s. Without much effort, the listener inevitably remembers the unrivaled Slime-Keim, even Jake Casualty gave the thumbs up via Instagram in faraway America. "Pogo in der Straßenb..." in the forest pool Saturday lunchtime!

If we look at our previous announcement flyer through rose-colored glasses, we are almost satisfied. Nearly. Yes, yes, actually. Rose-colored glasses off - ok, maybe something is still missing: We already have more than enough fidget Philipps on board with the CYANIDE PILLS, the PISSED ONES or the SPITS, but what about the fidget girls? Rose-colored glasses on. Wait a minute, THE VAGEENAS are definitely missing here!
Founded 30 years ago in the gray Ruhr area, an absolute '77 punk institution, brash, loud, groovy and crazy!
Singer Babette, who is undoubtedly something of an epitome of the pink fidget Philipp, plus her " Punk Rockers From Hell" at Back To Future 2024 - what could go wrong?

Who is actually playing under the pavilion this year, which in our delusions of grandeur we would like to sell to you in a very picturesque way as “The Waldbad Stage”? A spoiler regarding the RUNNING order? THE RUNNINGS will hit you with an energetic rock n' roll cocktail somewhere between the Baboon Show and the Donnas at a relatively early hour - the hangover won't stand a chance! Laura, Vince, Seb and Andy probably reads wonderfully on an imaginary Ramones logo, welcome to Back To Future!

You've probably all noticed that Franz Beckenbauer died, there was no getting past the man. Now you're probably asking yourself, why is there such a rarely stupid introduction here? Well, it's quite simple - because the grand seigneur of football once said: "Is it Christmas already?" knocked out! And this phrase fits better today than ever before, because: THE SPITS at Back To Future! We've been after them for ages! Last year we were even very close, but narrowly missed the tour date, then stood crying in front of the sold-out club shows and almost went crazy, but now it's finally working! The Ramones on speed (ahem), you can expect an insane full throttle punk show! No prisoners - history is being made! "Hey Glaubitz, we have a problem" - everyone in front of the stage, it's going to be epic!

Here it is finally: the new background graphics for your smartphone!
The first overall flyer for BACK TO FUTURE 2024. We think and hope that we have met a few tastes, because booking really wasn't easy this year. Now - at second and third glance - we are really proud and satisfied: a few of our personal all-time favorites, a few of your absolute dream bands, a few real insider tips and newcomers as well as a load of bands that have simply always belonged in Glaubitz. Whether it's the big stage, the tent stage, the bathroom "stage" - they're all headliners and favorite bands for someone somewhere. We will make the individual acts more palatable to you name by name over the next few weeks and months, perhaps with a video, perhaps with a short interview. Stay tuned.
Now, however, we also need a little help from you: Please share the flyer on your social media channels, send the graphic into group chats without being asked, start annoying ("Band XYZ is still missing", "...when is the running order coming?" ) - you know the game. We thank you in advance, your Back To Future Crew!

7SECONDS (US)
"Walk Together - Rock Together", "Young 'til I Die", Back To Future, "Not Just Boys Fun" - probably the biggest hits of 7SECONDS! :-)
... and hardly any song lasts longer than 60 seconds - that's how HC punk rock has to be!
After their furious comeback not so long ago, we have of course pulled out all the stops to lure another of our absolute favorite bands to the Saxony pampas! Not only 'Uns Ines' came back from the "Revolution Calling" festival euphoric and shouted "7Second's best band of the festival"!
... yes, and it worked, yesterday the confirmation for the only open air show in Treckerland landed in the mailbox and here we go: Welcome to Glaubitz, 7SECONDS!

NOi!SE (US)
Only for the second time ever in Europe and with their festival debut on our field! In addition to the old heroes of the genre that you constantly ask for, NOi!SE - as a still relatively "fresh" band - was constantly at the top of the charts. “Just get it!” No sooner said than done, even if it wasn't that easy, even a temporary break probably didn't affect the band's popularity. Because NOi!SE doesn't sound like the run-of-the-mill platitude of so many bands with "Oi!" in the name, which is mainly due to singer and songwriter Matt. His voice is simply outstanding: incredibly powerful and so soulful that you could imagine a duet with Chuck Ragan, Amy Winehouse or Louis Armstrong. Expect nothing less than an absolute highlight, we are extremely proud to be able to present you NOi!SE!
