THE SPARTANICS (GER)

If you don't know THE SPARTANICS, you wouldn't suspect when listening that the trio in Leipzig/Connewitz is more rooted in East End London. We watch the band whose Members have been BTF visitors for a long time.

The guys play no frills Oi! punk, with a distinctly British touch. Had the band Given in England 40 years ago, they would undoubtedly be on one of these legendary Oi! Sampler landed.

But back to the present - there is so much energy and connection in their songs this classic Oi! sound with a politically correct claim, we really like that! ...finally loud again Oi! Oi! Oi! roar along! They currently have their second LP via Smith & Miller Records, dubbed Sad Days For The Kids.

CHEAP STUFF (GER)

The five Dresdeners have been with us for more than 20 years at the BTF. At first as a welcome band, in recent years increasingly as crew members and paying guests. ...and now it's our turn to make things easier our guilty conscience!

Not every festival can claim to be such a classy and likeable one To have a band right on your doorstep, musically you would find their melodic Streetpunk is more likely to be associated with the west coast of America.

Your last LP "Kings and Pawns" has probably shown more than clearly that the Boys still have a lot of bite even after a longer release break - great album!

Dear CHEAP STUFFER - see you in Glaubitz in July at the latest!

DEECRACKS (AUT)

The three Viennese punk rockers are known for their merciless live shows. No wonder with far over 800 gigs on four continents they have a lot of practice at it. The concertless Corona Time must have been an absolute nightmare for her, especially since it was her last at that time Aptly titled "Serious Issues" album on American label Pirates Press appeared.

Now they are fulfilling another wish and can be behind our little one in the summer Punk festival "Back To Future" also make a tick.

We say Welcome to punk rock wellness in the provinces, DeeCracks!

THE MELMACS (GER) - cool name, cool band, best sound! <

Who remembers the early nineties TV series "ALF"? yes sure almost everyone here. Alf landed on Earth from the planet Melmac, which was destroyed by a nuclear catastrophe and was then characterized by the finest lounging.

The danger of a nuclear catastrophe is more relevant than ever and loafing is still frowned upon. ...but then come THE MELMACS with their good mood sound/power pop/77 punk around the corner and make the world colorful again and leave forget. Their brand new disc "GOOD ADVICE" is forthcoming a few days with a terrific delay at Wanda and Bakraufarfita Records landed - absolute purchase recommendation from us! ...and next year the band members are not only in audience or represented in the BTF crew, but also on the Glaubitz stage.

DEAD 77 (US)

DEAD 77 are rather unknown in Oiropa. The boys are coming from Los Angeles and classify themselves as the “West Coast punk rock” to. That is geographically correct and the optical style also fits in with it, but musically it goes a whole way Level more aggressive to the point - the band even more sympathetic power.

This year her first long player came with "Demons". out and it's going in 2023, after a short flying visit this year, a second time to Europe. Watch out! - absolute insider tip! We've already heard it Goosebumps, they probably have additional explosives live on bag!

P.S.- who "Civilization's Dying" by the brilliant ZERO BOYS makes it even more ingenious, it's a must-see in Glaubitz introduce!

PASCOW

One of the most popular German punk bands becomes a repeat offender and the number 4 is particularly prominent. Because for the 4th time, 4 years apart (2011, 2015, 2019, 2023), her path leads back to the Saxon province. Just like PASCOW, our little festival has become more and more popular and attractive over the years and these are just two points that connect us.

And of course they don't dare to come to us empty-handed, they'll have their brand new album with them in 2023, which will be called "Sieben".

After the 9-euro ticket has been abolished, it will probably be "hitchhiking to Glaubitz" again next year!

KENNY KENNY OH OH

The guys from Leipzig play straight punk rock full of melodies and hymn-like choirs, they don't break the 2-minute mark with any song! The Riot Grrrls get straight to the point, convey important content and will not negotiate!

KENNY KENNY OH OH will make for a nice wild party in Glaubitz.

STAGE BOTTLES

Who doesn't know the slogan "Sometimes Antisocial - But Always Antifascist"? That one is at least just as well known as the band that wrote the song of the same name - we're talking about the Frankfurter Streetpunk legend Stage Bottles.

Even after countless line-up changes, the band around their leader Olaf remains the same musically as well as ideologically loyal. In 2023 they will celebrate their 30th stage anniversary with a new release as we were able to find out. We think these are all reasons to welcome the band back to Glaubitz To be called.

ROTTEN MIND (SWE)

Uppsala! What a devilishly good punk rock cocktail awaits us next summer with ROTTEN MIND from the Swedish city of Uppsala?

And here the Scandinavians only use the best ingredients: 150ml 77`er Punk / 150ml Post-Punk / 100ml Dark Wave / 100ml Garage Rock.

Connoisseurs know how good it tastes and we warn those who have not yet tried it in advance - WARNING: ABSOLUTE ADDICTIVE!

Reno Divorce (US)

Social Distortion 2.0 - no way! ... that's what the quartet from Denver, Colorado doesn't like to be called, although the musical relationship to SD from better times cannot be denied.

Look forward to a good portion of melodic punk rock, prepared with the right mix of rockabilly, country & R'n'R..

We say: "Welcome to Reno Divorce in July at the riding arena in Glaubitz!"
