Tomorrow, too. For today, we’ve just arrived, looked around, petted some horses, test-run the forest pool, and cleaned our sunglasses. And what can we say? It’s all working out beautifully.
You wouldn't believe how much we’re looking forward to next Thursday evening. That’s when the punks take over the place for a few days, and everything looks completely different. Sure, setting up and tearing down all that gear is quite a job—but to spend three days at Back To Future with you all, we’re more than happy to do it!
For heaven’s sake, don’t forget the sunscreen!

Yes, yes, yes, finally: the running order!
As you can see, it’s worth standing in front of one of the stages from the very first second to the last. Okay, you’re allowed to take a quick break now and then to use the loo, grab a bite to eat, or get your cup refilled. But otherwise, there’s no excuse for missing even a single band!
We traditionally kick things off on Thursday with a shorter program held exclusively in the tent. This gives you plenty of time to arrive and settle into your punk-rock wellness retreat. Anyone who can read the schedule knows what kind of spectacle awaits on stage afterward.
On Friday morning, Simmi’s Riot Yoga will get you in shape for the two long days ahead! Start your day with beer yoga, and you’ll breeze right through it. Before we head over to the main festival grounds at 4:00 PM, three bands will play at the Waldbad—plus, there’s a reading on the agenda.
And hey, what would Back To Future be without P.I.Y. Karaoke to kick off Saturday!? Exactly—it wouldn't be the full BTF experience. Give it your all! Sing, scream, and belt it out to your heart's content. What happens at the Waldbad stays at the Waldbad. At 4:00 PM, we’ll move back to the festival grounds and really kick things into high gear.

Since demand has increased, we want to clear things up: Yes, there will be a family camping area, and yes, it will be sectioned off.
However, due to the restructuring of the festival grounds, it won't be in the usual spot; instead, it will be integrated into the official campsite.
Specifically, this separate, cordoned-off section will be located at the front of the campsite—right where the amenities are (food, washing facilities, toilets, etc.).
To help us get the area ready for you, please send an email to info@back-to-future.com with the subject line "Familiencamp" and let us know your travel plans—specifically, how many people are coming and what kind of sleeping setup you’ll be using. Will it be a station wagon, a small camper van, or a massive tent?

Unmistakable, almost euphoric
And in their own exuberant, Northern style, SMOKE BLOW seem really excited about BACK TO FUTURE! They’ve apparently even hung the poster in their living room and are counting down the days (only 17 left!) until the steamroller from Kiel finally gets to release the handbrake. We’re excited too, and currently have "German Angst" on constant repeat. It’s one of the band’s very rare open-air shows—their club gigs always sell out anyway—and we’re really happy that we’ve managed to book SMOKE BLOW again!

Join in, copy it, do it better!
At the Glaubitz forest pool, this motto applies just as well to cannonballs off the diving board and heavy-duty sunscreen as it does to the incredibly popular, crowd-pleasing, and legendary Punk Rock Karaoke. What could be better than bellowing "Filmriss" or "I Got Erection" into the mic while nursing a morning hangover? Exactly—nothing!
You know the drill: the participatory band from Dresden plays the hits, and you—or the person you’ve shoved onto the stage—get to sing. Since we can’t afford the original lineups of Die Ärzte, Bad Religion, Green Day, Rancid, or even the Sex Pistols (with Mr. Carter), it’s up to you to step up!
Saturday starting at 11:00 AM! – So brush up on the lyrics to your favorite bands, or get ready to make a total fool of yourself! Anyone who does a "good" job gets a "Good Morning" shot from the booze gun! We look forward to seeing you there!

Hey, and because it’s so awesome, we went ahead and made another, slightly longer trailer!
Do you feel the same way we do? Whenever we see these images, we can feel it all over again—that unique "Back-To-Future" vibe! The ground gently vibrating while the bands play; the incredibly laid-back atmosphere shared by everyone—on stage and off, from the crew to the guests; and, not least, our colorful, super-chill crowd hanging out at the Waldbad!
It’s going to be another top-notch long weekend!

We don't want to end up even leaving the Platzhalter on the Flyer auflösen. ... und, na klar kommen THE CASUALTIES wieder nach Glaubitz! The same thing happens at a great rate, so many times Sinn, where a Beaker Wasser in the Waldbad zu kippen, deshalb machen wir uns heute in lecker Sonntagnachmittag-Bier auf und hören eine Runde “Ugly Bastards”, “On The Frontline” or “Punx Unite”! CASUALTIES ARMY!

Insiders are already whispering about the "Beer Cobra at Back To Future." Curious what that’s all about? Find out on BTF Friday at 11:00 AM during Beer Yoga with Simmi from Riot Yoga at the Waldbad Glaubitz. Come along to stretch, bend, and get a little tipsy while you're at it—that’s how exercise should be! ...plus, your back—which might be starting to complain after a night on a sleeping mat—will appreciate a good stretch. No prior yoga experience is needed; just bring a desire to move and a taste for beer (or any other drink)!
